[Weekly Software & Hardware Sales] "Silent Hill F," which has shipped over 1 million copies worldwide, takes the top spot! "EA SPORTS FC 26" and "Red and White Wrestling" are also ranked on the Switch and PS5 versions. "9 RIP" and the latest "Sonic Racing" titles also make it into the top 10 [9/22-9/28]

Seven titles (five if counted by platform) made their first appearance in this week's rankings, making it into the top 10.

Psychological horror Silent Hill F takes the top spot, according to the manufacturer the latest installment in the series has already sold over one million copies worldwide in just two days since its release. It's a title that will be interesting to see how it fares in the future.

Coming in third and eighth place are the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch versions of the soccer game EA SPORTS FC 26, which was released simultaneously worldwide. Coming in at fourth and sixth place are the Switch and PS5 versions of the latest installment in the popular RPG series, Atelier Resleriana: Crimson Alchemist and the White Guardian both of which are off to a strong start. The PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch versions of "The Last Samurai" were ranked.

Also in fifth place is the romance adventure game for women, 9 RIP sequel and in 9th place is Sonic Racing Cross Worlds which features many characters from the Sonic series, resulting in a significant change in the top 10 from last week.

Good week for all the consoles

All consoles are up week-on-week, which is always nice to see.

Decent start for Silent Hill f with launch week sales nearly twice as much as Silent Hill 2 Remake.

Launch week sales:

• Silent Hill f (PS5) - 57,475
• Silent Hill 2 Remake (PS5) - 29,374

The PS5 is expected to sell between 25,000 and 30,000 units next week with the release of Ghost of Yotei. After that, it should return to around 10,000 units for the rest of the year.

Big release for the PS5, and next weeks should be even bigger.

Still wasn't enough to beat the Switch, but next week could do so.
