Publisher THQ Nordic and developer Gunfire Games will release Darksiders III for Switch both physically and digitally on September 30 for $39.99 / £34.99 / €39.99, the companies announced.

Darksiders III first launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and other stores on November 27, 2018.

The Switch version will include both post-release downloadable contents, “Keepers of the Void” and “The Crucible.

Well, that came out of nowhere. Glad to hear. I played Darksiders I and II and really liked them both, but I have yet to play the third one. Now that is on the Switch I might be able to give it a shot.

Always nice to see more ambitious/modern games make their way to Switch, even if this particular one is not for me.

I wonder who is handling the port; Saber already have 4 Switch ports on the go so surely it can't be them. Could be QLOC or Virtuos, or maybe it's being done in-house by the devs themselves.

I loved DS2 on WiiU, then got DS1 but have never played it.  Didn't hear the greatest feedback on 3, but is it still worth checking out?  Genesis actually looked really good to me...but I really am into Diablo 3 so it kinda hits those buttons for me.  What say you guys?
