There is zero confirmation that a Switch 2 is happening. Nintendo might not go down that path, Nintendo does what Nintendo does after-all.

It's a primary console if it's the primary device that is being used, it's impossible to tell if that is the case from these statistics.

Just like there was zero confirmation of a ps5 happening before sony announced it.

It's a primary console for being the common denominator. As most would prefer a switch and maybe one of the others. Just like gen 7, where most got the wii and maybe a ps3 OR x360, but precious few chose both a ps3 and x360. Once again, this will be better visualized during the 10th gen, since all 3 of switch 2, ps5 and xsx will belong to the same gen.

There is some possibility that Switch 2 is a thing , it's just need confirmation. People are very careful when predicting Nintendo product because Nintendo are rarely stick to the sequel home consoles or direct successor to their gaming product except their handled (DS, Gameboy).

For me i hope Switch 2 is indeed coming in the future, but  that if Nintendo want to stick with the same idea and the same market. Nintendo are very  creative,  they always experiment with new product . And never deliver the same thing.

This is from a survey. Chances are the switch only number is much higher, considering much of Switch's target audience does not do surveys.

Nintendo has delivered "the same thing" 6 times already.

Makes sense. Generation 8 console owners are going over to the Switch for Generation 9. A lot of PS2 owners bought a Wii.

No love for Switch/PC owners? Don't need an Xbox since I have a PC that can play the games.

Don’t live in the US but I’m part of the 17%.

SNES, Gamecube, and Gameboy Advance were iterative successors. Minus the 3D gimmick which ultimately didn't end up being a big selling point, so was 3DS.

No they are not deliver the same thing. SNES, N64 and Gamecube are the same, But Wii are different. Even Wii U are different from Wii. Not include Switch. We can expect something new from them after Switch.

By concept yes, but by names and brand they are not. Also i did said "except  for their handled"

Switch functions as a handheld though, so why wouldn't it follow their pattern of being iterative there? And who cares about brand or name, we're talking about concept. There's little reason for Nintendo NOT to do an iterative Switch successor.
