At some point, the changes will become so drastic people cant ignore it anymore.

Scientist say its basically too late to prevent climate change.
They talk about tipping points, where once you go over, systems break apart.

Even if we stopped produceing emissions today, the course of things would continue play out enough to push us past tipping points.
Basically emissions released today, dont show their full effects, until many years lateron. We 've already released enough, in the past many years, that the earth would continue to heat up for certain periode of time, pushing us past some of these tipping points.

So its too late, to "save the system" basically.
Its now more a matter of how do we adapt, to the world 100-300 years from now?
Riseing sea levels will become a issue.

Once Miami can't fight off the sea level rise anymore (Miami is the most threatened city in the world from rising sea levels, with New Orleans in close second spot. Already now you can find stagnating water in some streets in the city during sunny weather. That's not rainwater, that the high tide flushing through the sewer system into the city) and has to abandon parts of the city, then maybe people will wake up. Or the rising waters eating up the marshlands around New Orleans and creeping up upon the city maybe will do it. But the way the deniers are ticking, I doubt they would concede even if they were about to get flushed away by a high tide in the midst of a city in the US when it's about 45°C (110°F) in January outside...

Heatwaves were much more severe in the 1930s with the "Dust Bowl" killing ten thousand. Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath is the story of this mega drought.

Climate Change doesn't give a fuck about one or two anomalies like the high point in the 1930's... That isn't what Climate Change is about.

It's about overall and long-term trends... Yes you will still get periods where temperatures will spike and where temperatures will drop below the averages, it accounts for all of that.

The US has by far the best temperature record on earth (longest and most stations). There is no region in the world with a comparable data set. You can't use bad data to "adjust" good data.

So far we are coming out of the "New Ice age" but still below the 1930s Dust Bowl (raw temp data). The rest in data "adjustment" by cooling past US temperatures.

The data "adjustment" is now so severe that the "New Ice Age" got practically removed from the adjusted temp curve.

There are no actual citations on those newspaper "clippings" so they can be discarded.

It's "arguments" in those clippings are also relying on data that hasn't had an extra half a century of more of additional data thrown into the climate change model, so those opinions (Or any from the mid-1900's for that matter!) don't hold any weight what so ever when we are in the year 2020.

We also collect temperature data outside of scientific instruments/record keeping.

Fact is, the majority of climate scientists support anthropogenic climate change, that is all there is to it. - Unless you or someone else has the credentials to debate the topic in an educated manner (I.E. Years of study in climatology.) then it's just pointless opinions.
