This word should not be used AT ALL, but I will say it in my post for textual purposes or w/e

 Ok as you may know already, Nigger has been used by white people mostly in the USA as a racist slur. 

Why arnt white people now allowed to say Nigger even if they are not racist or arnt using it to call a black person?

I think no one should use this word, even black people. It really gets me sick when I hear black people saying "Nigga" in their songs. Its like they are praising or giving power the slave masters by using this word or something. Thats like Australians calling each other dirty irish convicts.

And to make it worse, Latinos use it freely! Thats like a black person calling each other beaners or something lol. 

White people shouldnt say it because they just shouldnt lol. When its coming from a white person it sounds even more racist.

I don't think anyone should be allowed to use it. It's like if all Jewish people called each other "Dirty Filthy Jews" like the Nazi's did. Sounds pretty Damn stupid to me!

It should be clarified that not all black people say nigger. Mostly just those that also freely use terms like bitch or hoe to describe women or faggot to describe homosexuals. So we really shouldn't let those individuals factor too heavily in to any debate on acceptance of racial terminology.

Does that limit to the word "negro"? I wrote it a few times, but all of them referencing to the treatment people were suffering at the time.

well, being black i do actually use the word. i call my boys this very regularly. but i'm not a racist nor am i praising slave lords when i use it. it's just how we use it; when i use it the word carries no negative connotations with it. and you can't use the word around anyone. one must be cautious when and where to drop the bomb. i do agree i have no idea why latinos use it, that makes no sense to me. i take my education seriously as well, currently enrolled at Boston College. it's not just the "dumb" rappers you see on t.v. that use it. overall, it's cool with me. if you use it too frequently then there's a problem. plus you can tell if how someone is using it (positively or negatively) by the way it's delivered

Ive got a Black roommate who calls me nigga all the time. In return, I call him it too. Im white. We get along great and there is still peace in the world.

Sorry but I disagre on that one... you should never use the word as an insult for homosexuals but many people use it only to describe men who are not tough or wussies... in that case I think its ok... besides its and old english word to describe a bundle of sticks, its also a meatball made of pork... I am willing to appologize personaly to any homosexual who reads this and finds it offencive but faggot is just to good of a word to give up...

OT: Now that we cannot prohibit the "N" word I think we should get over its old use and make it free for all... with time this will happen anyway... lots of words have changed their meaning over time... look at the word hippie... it used to be an insult to people who listend to rock music and had long hair... now they call themself that way with pride... there are many other examples but I`m to lazy to think of any now...
