In the first month of the new year, there were quite a few interesting happenings with the chart. In the first month since Smash released, the total points went up from 575 to 635. For the first time ever (or to my knowledge) we have 3 of the same game in the top 20 (Resident Evil 2 PC, PS4, and Xbox One all spent their last week in there). We almost had 2 games in there at the same time but Yoshi managed to keep one of Cyberpunk 2077's skus out of the top set. We also have Tales of Vesperia in the chart 4 times (PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox One). This is the last month on the chart for 7 games that are currently in the top 25 (so next month should be interesting). Kingdom Hearts 3 led the pack at the top spot (by a pretty decent margin). Then Nintendo dominated with games that we haven't really seen much info on yet.

This might be the last month Mario has been featured in a game in a year on this chart. Through the last year he has been prominantly featured in 5 games (Mario Tennis Aces, Super Mario Party, Super Smash Bros, New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe, and Mario & Luigi's Inside Bowser Story + Bowser Jr's Journey). Though Mario might be taking a little break, Yoshi and Luigi are very much keeping the Mushroom Kingdom alive on here though. 

The highest debut for a new title was Crash Team Racing at number 20. But the highest new SKU belonged to the PC edition of Resident Evil 2. 6 titles in the top 25 were all remakes or remasters. The highest jump in the Most Wanted was Travis Strikes Again, a game that vaulted from 73 to 16 in its last month of eligibility. The biggest drop was from 14 to 56 by Crackdown 3. 

As part of my ongoing attempt to keep updating features to this thread, I have changed the format a little for the previous months info. Now if a title is new but has charted under a different platform, it still says new but has an asterisk by it. As for games that are re-entering the chart, I have the month (and year depending on how long it's been) right next to it as well. 

I would also like to thank you all for continued support for this feature. Without you guys, this would consist of me just writing down my top 5 favorite games each month. I'll have the voting thread up as soon as possible and I'll update the OP with the link and make a post in the thread. Thank you!

The new format looks good and it's easy to read on Firefox unlike previous editions. I have to say, tho (and I don't know if it's on purpose or not), that all the text on your second post is grey, which makes it hard to read.

About the numbers, It still amazes me how so many people can vote for games we know absolutely nothing about like Metroid Prime 4, and also how close Nintendo and Sony are. And PC has more votes and points than XboxOne... wow.
