I don't like the assumption that Japanese people are xenophobic simply because they don't like western games. Are western gamers anti-asian if they only like western games? I don't think so. Japanese people love Apple and anything that carries its logo is instantly sought after. 

 They love American culture. They just don't, in mass anyway, love western styled games. That's all there is to it.

Nope. They already do most of their games for for Sony...
Unless Sony decide to put major investment to grow them and make more teams there is no point in buying.

I would like for Sony to purchase them. It'd prevent anymore wonderful titles being wasted on a fanbase that doesn't want it.

I mean I agree it would be worth a try to recapture the japanese gamer like they did back in the ps1 ps2. they are a big company its not much of a risk to acquire 2-3 small medium jap developers

FFXV is "super western" and sold a lot in japan. 

the thing is. when Japanese developers make games. they really make games familiar for Japan and us. a lot of their games are western and western inspired in their themes. just slight artistic touches from them

 

whats the number of games that are Japanese friendly that are made in the west? not many.  most of our games is a white guy with a gun shooting people. thats really the truth.

 

I mean I dislike JRPGs and all of these super duper edgy schoolgirl/boy anime games. but I like the serious stuff they make.

Right, we should instead focus on the fact that they are xenophobic for a variety of different reasons, low-key racism being a big one.
