In another thread somebody said they never really played Yakuza. Another user implied that they "weren't a real Sega fan". I love Nintendo but there are still Nintendo games I haven't played and really have no intention of ever playing.

But, to the point of this thread that was inspired by that post: Is there a gaming company that will get your money no matter what they release? Naughty Dog? Rockstar? I even bought the Rockstar Table Tennis game!

What is the one company that you have unshakable faith in? You play EVERYTHING that they release.

My answer is Ninja Theory, btw. Nothing I ever intended to happen. They have just been so consistent that I know I'm going to enjoy whatever they release without fail.

Those are two separate questions. One can have complete faith in a company but still not play everything they release.

No, but there is one I would never trust, no matter what they do.

I'm pretty confident about Larian Studios.

It would have to be a team with a very small body of work, as the giants of the industry have turned in a turkey now and then. Even Nintendo, by far the best developer out there, is capable of mediocrity.

I'd say I trust Team Ico (or what's left of it), Retro Studios, and...I think that's it. Maybe DrinkBox?
