Well, we were a little bit short but I think it was close enough.

Now we need someone brave to predict when the Switch will outsell the Wii

And then someone extra BOLD to predict when the Switch will outsell the PS4

I got called out for my prediction, then called out for "doubling down," and now I predict I'm going to get called out again. I stand by my prediction. Wii will outsell PS4 lifetime. And you want to know how that's going to happen? Here's how:

1) PS4 will be confirmed, in 2030, to have been massively over tracked. 20 million sales adjustment down. Boom.

2) Mini Wii, launching in 2028, will sell 10-30 million copies by 2035.

3) PS5 will secret launch November 2019, cannibalizing PS4 sales.

4) European recession will cause the gaming industry there to collapse. Ps4 sales hurt the most by this.

This thread is great. We can see until how late people thought PS4 wouldn't cross 100M. And of course we can see a lot of people that today pretend sales don't mater thinking Xbox would pass PS4 because of 4k or Scorpio. Now that it is impossible sales don't matter, they could do PR for MS.
