So yeah in less then 3 weeks we will have Breath of the wild in shops. For me 3rd March can't come quick enough. Hyped.

But how do you think the Critics will rate the game, will they love, hate it or just find it OK.  LoZ is one of the most highly rated and regarded franchises in the history of gaming,  this game has a huge amount of pedigree to live up to,  and is one of the most hyped games of 2017, and we all know how hyped games turn out this generation don't we ahem watchdogs.  With current gen games reaching huge success such as the Witcher 3 and Skyrim, I am however  slightly concerned that BOTW can't keep up but the last trailer blew me away. I'm hoping for an average of 95 BUT expecting around 88.

PS anyone know when the review embargo lifts or when review copies go out?

I think it'll get the highest praise a console Zelda has gotten since OOT.

Well I voted for 95-100 here's hoping😓

I hope so that would be epic, but it would have to score a perfect 10 can't see that happening.

They'll masturbate all over it. It will make Captain_Yuri blush.

Nothing would make Captain_Yuri blush....

I think it will get about 95%. It's a lot harder now to get 99% like Ocarina of Time did. There will definitely be some reviewers who will complain about the graphics, since they are not ultra realistic and technologically advanced.

There is a very high risk involved when changing a well-working formula and transforming the game into a Skyrim clone with Xenoblade X style empty worlds and a potentially boring and restrictive mission system. If you take out everything what makes Zelda great (dungeons, signature items) and replace it with breaking weapons and a physics engine, a lot can go wrong. So I really hope that Zelda will score above 80, else I will cancel my preorder.

In my opinion, a rating above 95 can be ruled out for sure because Skyrim is a 5 year old game but still provides better graphics and a much more alive world loaded with tons of content. Skyrim has much more content in its smaller world than Breath of the World can offer in its larger but empty environments. And content-density counts.

Dunno, considering the change in direction their is obviously a larger risk involved, little issues with the games overall design and progression we're not privy to till we spend a good 20+ hours playing the game.

Anywhere from 90-96 on metacritic. I don't think it'll drop into the high-80's, unless there's some pretty substantial underlying flaw.

Depends on how the world feels I guess. If it feels a bit empty which is possible since the map is huge, I don't think 95 is still achievable. Also don't make an animation for everything link picks up, because in an open world game that is going to be really irritating. Anyway I think it will score a bit similar to the Witcher III.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

+90 on da Metaz guaranteed (I say 96), even a game like Skyward Sword (least liked and most unmemorable 3D Zelda game) managed it, but unlike SS it will def deserve it I feel.
