Neither that nor a digital event.

Just a broadcast of Zelda U gameplay.

For real?

Edit: wow. Congratulations, Nintendo. You just managed to outdid yourself.

sigh. They never stop getting crappier, do they?

There will probably be playable demos for the crowd at E3... but I think E3 just opens to the general public on 15th; so they'll probably broadcast that gameplay on 14th and the day after people will be able to play it or a different section.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Didn't they already confirm that the only playable game would be Zelda?

...either way, playable demos don't make up for it. At least 90% of the E3 audience is people watching it online, they don't want playable demos on the floor, they want news and trailers and stuff.

Well, those people will still get their gameplay broadcast a day before E3 kicks in. That would be more than enough imo... it will probably be a very interesting, scripted and long gameplay. They might also release a short trailer during their E3 coverage.

While it is disappointing all we are getting is Zelda, I can't help but feel a little excited they are finally blowing the cover off of the whole thing.
