Are you so sure about that?. Why then is so many PS4 games playable on the PS3??

You mean PS4 remasters from the PS3 ?

Their the minority but you can try and bend your logic as much as you like to try and prove your initially flawed point ...

Another reason why I visit VGChartZ is to read posts like this where fanboys in denial of their failing console come up with pie in the sky thought processes like this...

Very hilarious...

For users who still dont get what im saying its like this.
Sony has released the baseline PS4 if you want a more powerful one you buy the PS4k.

MS released the baseline X1. But instead of releasing a more powerful one they have giving you the option of building or buying a more powerful W10 Machine.

One way or the other its still both company's releasing their own games on their own platforms.

orrrrrr......

Sony released the PS4 in 2013 at a time when 4k TVs were outta the price bracket of the average consumer. And at a time when UHD Blu-ray specification wasn't set in stone.

Now, they are releasing the PS4k to allow people that have a 4k TV make the most of it. Upscale standard PS4 games to 4k, allow you watch YouTube, neflix, 4k Blu-ray movies all in 4k on your 4k TV. with the added benefit of making games run better if you have ur PS4k connected to a 1080p TV.

Do you realize that as it stands there isn't a universal easy way of getting 4k content onto a 4k TV that's cheap and affordable unless you get a HTPC?

Don't be shocked that people think what you are saying is dumb.

If you have a 4k TV. you will be dancing with glee for a PS4k. It's extremely ridiculous to take this stance of, well my console doesn't support 4k so why should anyone elses support it. Sony fucked melike a goat. The decieved me. they made a console for 4k TVs and now my PS4 is useless. Just ridiculous.

Trust me tho, if you decide to buy a 4k TV anytime soon. The first thing you will probably get along with it is a ps4k.

You said "No PS5 game will be playable on the PS4"

It's not that hard to grasp the idea of different versions ...

In the case the PS4/K, they're running the same game version with the very same disc ...

Your reading what im saying wrong.

People are reading this as me having an argument against why sony shouldnt do it.

They really should be reading it as how silly it was for them being mad at Ms for doing pretty much the same thing.

I cant wait to get a PS4k the same way i was excited for playing X1 games on my PC. But for anyone to of been against one and for the other is very very silly imo.

Perhaps one day but right now your analogy is flawed.

I buy a PS4 disc, it works on the PS4.5. I buy a PS4.5 disc, it works on the PS4. I can take my PS4 disc to my friend's house and play it on their PS4.5. Additionally, in the future, they'll actually be the same SKU, so there won't be separate discs.

Is it the same situation with W10 and the Xbox One?

Eventually, probably, but right now, I can't consider them the same platform.

Except this is not what you said or what we are talking about.

First off any game MS brings to windows 10 will be running the same code as the X1 version since they will be using UWA or whatever that thing is called.

But once again this is not your original Answer when you said "No PS5 game will be playable on the PS4" when the fact is the will be just like the is now with the PS3.

And in fact it will be even easier for PS4 and 5 ports, since unlike with the PS3 thats a completely different system. The PS5 will pretty much be an upgraded PS4 once again running PC parts.
