Who is the person (girl or the other gender) that is more recognizable, more present in the gaming world today, more synonymous with gaming in all you people's minds?

If you want to have an idea of what I mean, think of it as some sort of gaming celebrity of some sort.

You definitely can hate the person, it doesn't matter, it could be like a Kardashian of gaming.

You can mention one personality that you think is most famous in the general public's eyes and one who is more famous in the eyes of the core gamers, if you want.

Dammit! I wanted to put more names to the poll, way few spaces there to put everyone.

You can make the distinction. Like saying who you think is popular to the general public and separately to the core gamers.

Still Miyamoto...

Miyamoto.

It's a tie between Hideo Kojima for all the recent controversy leading up to the release of MGSV and beyond that has made his even more of a common name among gamers than ever before, and Phil Spencer for increasing his prominence and association with the Xbox brand through repeated interviews with major gaming media outlets, for better or for worse.

For those saying Miyamoto, recognize that outside of the Nintendo core, his name is not very relevant anymore. We're talking biggest today. As in at the end of 2015. Miyamoto just hasn't been all that relevant in the gaming world for awhile now outside of the core Nintendo audience. The mass appeal his games and otherwise once had is no longer a prominent feature of his current image, and undeniably others completely and utterly outshine him in terms of 2015 media coverage from both amateurs and major outlets alike.

PewDiePie ...

None of you have mentioned Anita Sarkeesian, I find that sexist.
