So last weekend I was looking for some special offers in a nearby store, when I saw this:

Now, I haven't played this game, but considering everyone despised it at release and the fact that it is a relatively old game now, I'm shocked it is still at such a price. This game was alongside TES Morrowind for less than 20 € and an old CoD, for around 40 €. It's clear that the store is trying to make it look better than it really is so they can make a profit on people without internet. As despicable as this is, this gave me a question: What's the worst example of pricing a game you've ever seen? Did you buy it?

As incredible as this sounds, this isn't the worst case of pricing I have seen: That was Rambo the Videogame for 50€ on PS3, but that was at least on launch.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

lol! nice find. On the Wii U eshop there is this indie called Jett Tailfin. It was priced over $30. It had like 2 ratings and was at 2 stars. They finally reduced the price of it recently but there's no way I'm touching it.

I actually found a store that was selling that game for 20€. They sold out rather quickly, probably will end up as birthday gifts for some poor unfortunate kids. XD

That's a good question.... I'm not sure... the games I thought were bad match the prices, or at least drop to their appropriate price quick.

Metroid: Other M is still $50 at a Target I go to occasionally. @_@

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

It's still $80 at my local Wal-Mart X_X

Blizzard chargfing full price for Heart of the Swarm (£40) which is meant to be an "expansion" pack, wouldn't be surprised if they charged for LotV the same way as well.

There are some indie games on Steam that are badly rated and recieved while having the gall to charge upwards of £25-30

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

For some reason, Sin and Punishment Star Successor is still $90. I don't even know why...

Back when I was a kid in Newfoundland, I wandered into a Shopper's Drug Mart and saw the SNES game Vegas Stakes for....

wait for it...

103.99 plus tax (which, by the way, was more than 19% in the province at the time)

I didn't buy it.
