Welcome to the Official Monster Hunter 4 thread!

After months of waiting painfully; it's finally here. Monster Hunter 4 has released on the 3DS (or 2DS...or 3DS XL...or New 3DS...or New 3DS XL...), to critical acclaim. This thread, as with several threads which have gone before it, will be used for a number of reasons. It will be used to discuss all things Monster Hunter, it will be used for gaining important hints and tips on how to beat that pesky Lagiacrus, and most importantly it'll be used as a place for everyone to meet up and hunt together online.

I'm not sure. Have yet to try out the online side of things. But in previous games it was an issue so airing on the side of caution right now. 

So how are people enjoying the game so far? I know it's (very) early days but still.

Damn, i barely got through the two tutorial quests last night (though i had to rush out, tv show to watch).

I do like that they give you one of all of the basic weapons to start with.
