By now we have Link in Mario Kart, Sonic Lost World, Tekken Tag Tournament, and Bayonetta 1 & 2, Samus in Monster Hunter 4 and Bayonetta 1 &2, etc.

In my humble opinion, it's getting to the point where it just seems cheap, lazy, and devalues the characters through oversaturation.

They're just costumes, they don't bother me. Link in Mario Kart is awesome though.

Relax, I'll let you know when they over do it.

How many games has Mario already been in?? A few more surely cant hurt =P

Yes, but I don't think we've gotten close to that point yet for certain characters.

Mario and Luigi should keep their hands off every other game, though.

To me he's so out of place it hurts. I'll never play him.

To me it's fine at the moment, and it's an easy way to sell games that might not sell otherwise. But it will hit a point of diminishing returns and oversaturation, possibly sooner than Nintendo would like.

Take for instance amiibos. Another case of using major IPs to sell products and I think they will make Nintendo a lot of money quickly. But what happens when theyve made figures for all their major IPs? As skylanders before found out, reposes of old characters don't sell very well.

Nintendo really needs to reboot dormant franchises and create new IPs before the selling power of their current lineup runs dry.

No, not yet. But they can't keep this up too long though.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

It feels weird. I dont get exclusive vibe from these games. Nintendo needs to be careful.

Welcome to Nintendo where they've been doing this for nearly 30 years.
