Possibly in the US and UK, no chance WW.

I honestly think the UK might be lost. ~400k gap is hell of a lot to close. Will take a lot of time if it ever does.
usa? yes, it might even surpass it in one month. globally? hell no, it will be a slaughter in EU and sony will receive a small boost from japan that wont happen to the xb1.

Isn't this question just considering the sales for the coming holiday period though? |
Yep, after the holidays will definitely be able to answer with conviction probably .
So this was just sales at one retailer that was argos....lols if so.
Someone please educate anyone not from the UK where argos is in terms of sales ;)

Where are you getting Argos from?
Close, as in 65-70% of the PS4's sales; yes, I believe I have said as much as soon as the price lowered and Kinect was out of the picture. Close, as in close enough to potentially beat it for a week; unlikely.
People have been severely underestimating the One's growth potential and seriously overestimating the PS4's sales potential (quite a few had the PS4 pegged for 20 million sales by year's end 2014) but there's still a very, very long way to the top.
Globally? No fucking way, toasty.. :/
