At the tme of the interview, three days ago, they had released 23 games across 6 systems.

A perfect 23/23 profit rate is pretty damn impressive, especially in this day and age.

Thats great to hear! These guys are pretty good developers so I hope they continue to make games for a while

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

They take no risks, they just churn out cheap, nondescript shovelware which Nintendo lightly promotes making a slim profit.

Hmmm....nothing too special. Glad they are profitable though!

I'm surprised that you, the king of eShop garbage, don't recognize one of the better developers on Wiiware/eShop. They are known for their great graphics for being such a small team(5 person I think):

They are making games exclusively for Wii U, which seems to be a much larger risk than most multi-million dollar publishers are willing to take.

That's not true; they have done some licensed games, but for many of their titles they invest a great deal of effort in pushing the hardware, even building their own proprietary tools. They just finished building a new engine which powers their newest games, Art of Balance Wii U and FAST Racing Neo. Shovelware devs don't do that.

Wait, you're telling me that they made a profit on WiiWare?!

So, they passed the sales threshold and actually got money from Ninty every single time?

Wow. Shin'en has earned my respect.

I WON A BET AGAINST AZUREN! WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

No, but Shovelware Devs who are supported, nurtured and guaranteed by Nintendo might.

Shovelware is software that is produced with a minimum of effort and investment. That's clearly not the case here.
