What's gonna be interesting to see next year is how many of the 2013 games stick around in the list. Are they gonna be the kind that get more beloved as time goes on or were they just helped by extra exposure this year?

2013 was certainly a great year for gaming, much better than the anemic 2012. I'll also be interested to see how folks respond to the wealth of great games as the months roll on.

A few games were missed because of the November 1st deadline as well (games like Super Mario 3D World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag [although technically out before the deadline, most folks couldn't give it the playtime to properly judge it]) should add to the 2013 list of great games.

AND TEARAWAY!

Which oddly you included in the Vita's top games, but I thought we couldn't vote for it.  Otherwise, I would have done!

Heh, you're totally right.

Aviggo77 voted for it, despite it launching in late November. Totally slipped my mind. XD

Captains log Day 372:
We have found ourselves half way through the thread. There are rumors spreading among the men, rumors that the list never ends. I have assured them that every list must end, but even I am beginning to have doubts.
All we can do is hope to find Final fantasy 9 at the number one spot. It is all that keeps us going.

Good lord, I haven't laughed like that in a while. Must be the sea madness.

pretty nice list to be honest :)

Couldn't disagree more with this list

My Etsy store

My Ebay store

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

After 10 minutes of reading, I have to say that I'm surprised by how much Nintendo just dominates this list. I know I shouldn't be but still.

Are you saying that your opinion is different than other people. This is profoundly new thought and you might be on to something.
