Do you think Quantum Break will make it to PC

Yes indeedly-doodely. Yeseeriee bob! 47 41.96%

F*** that! Don't you kno... 50 44.64%

PC gamer party!!!! Hell y... 15 13.39%

Total:112

Let us keep in mind that 360 sales/profit are padding any X1 hardware losses. 360 prices today are still way too high, at least much higher then whatever it costs to manufacture.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

If the scenerio was like previous gen then we might have seen quantum break in pc. But they are quite serious about the exclusive war. So I dont think quantum break will come to pc.

Microsoft might be but Remedy don't seem to be. That report was from 2012. Remedy is very supportive of the PC community. I don't think they would take kindly to Microsoft forcing them to become a console only company.

So what a game is released on PC. Gaming on PC is too unpredictable. Do I have a fast enough rig/ram/memory etc... I will stick to the Xbox one no need to read the fine print to see if it will run on my system. If you are constantly updating( paying for a new graphic card ) then wait and buy it but PC gaming and console gaming are not the same neither is the community.

The real issue for a game like Alan Wake was piracy. It was the most pirated Xbox 360 game of the year 2010, which is just sad.

1.14 million illegal downloads in 8 months + 1.24 million retail sales according to VGC + x.x million digital versions of Alan Wake, which was bundled.

Anyway, it MIGHT happen, but I would not be that sure. I read this stuff for Titanfall and the PS4 before.
This time MS owns the Quantum Break IP and not Remedy and IF it is on PC, it will be for Microsoft Windows anyway.

Piracy isn't a guaranteed sale unfortunately. The same people that pirarted Alan Wake potentially pirate all their 360 games. So I just don't take them into consideration.

There is a large number of people that actually buy games and not a significant enough number of them were buying Alan Wake.

Right, sometimes people try to spin PC ports as a bad thing. But MS owns Windows and games help that platform. With Steambox coming, MS needs to give people reasons to stay with Windows.

I agree with STAGE. Remedy has never forgotten its PC fanbase.

You are well aware MS likes releasing games on their platform first, let them get all the front loaded sales, marketing, gamer buzz, and then when the sales stop for their console, release it somewhere else that isn't Sony.

I am getting an overall subtle negative vibe from your thread. This really isn't a big deal, whether it happens or not. It won't come to PS4. All else is irrelevant.

I hope so, i'd like to be able to play it in 1080p

(don't hurt me :p)

Its not negative at all. I was looking at the Quantum Break video and went through my articles in my bookmarks and found the old article from 2012 talking about how they had to nag at Microsoft to get Alan Wake on PC. I was just making a prediction. As you can see by the votes a lot of people don't even want to hear about the game hitting PC.

Even if it hits pc it will be 1-2 years later. But again, I see slim chance of pc release. Microsoft will try to keep it exclusive.

I recall, when they first debuted this game, they said it was coming for PC. I'm surprised the game isn't listed for PC right now, but like you said Remedy is dedicated to PC gamers. Alan Wake & Max Payne both made it to PC, I don't see this game being any different.
