MS is obviously making alot of great moves as of late, so people should be more positive towards the idea of them going hardware :).

My sister used to work for M$ in Redmond and her husband still does. She lost like $3 million in one week a few years back when the stock took a dump. I would guess that maybe she is finally getting it back!

I plan to do the "unification" myself by getting a windows phone when the Lumia 929 comes to Verizon in the next 30 days.

It is near the end of the end....

They honestly could swat Sony away like a fly if they really wanted to, lol. They are sooooooo much larger of a company, they make more money in 3 months than Sony has in the last 10 years.

What was the canny Android deal?

MS are estimated to be making more from android than even google. they licensed out their patents to the android phone manufacturers. Every Android phone sold is money in MS pockets.

Hooray for Ballmer retiring (biggest tangible profit MS has seen in well over a decade)

but Sony made no money in the last 6?

I still feel sad that Bill Gates killed Ballmer :s.

I will getting a Ms phone when I am tired of my Iphone, I played around with my nephew's Nokia 179 € phone and was very impressed.

Just imagine when Windows 9 launches, it's due to be the 'good' OS.

Xbox One needs a price cut and Windows Phone needs to just keep doing its thing.

Nobody can deny the future looks bright if Microsoft play their cards right, they know what they have to do.
