I am asking, what is an AAA game?

Are Payday The Heist/2 AAA games? Is Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 an AAA game? I am asking, because if AAA games will really die, i still would like to play games like, Naruto and Payday The Heist. And if those games are AAA games... god help the future of my gaming...

AAA is a game with a stellar budget.

Doesn't matter if it is good, bad, casual or core game, or if it is a market success or a monumental flop.

Its a game in wish people have sunk (or sank? ) tons of money.

It is a high budget game. Has nothing to do with a game being good or not. I know Lift London said they want to redefine AAA but it is a development term on budget so they cant even if the games they make turns out to be amazing.
