3ds is currently down around 350k YoY. Do you think the trend will continue for 2013 or do you think the big software releases ( Luigi's mansion 2, pokemon, etc) will push enough hardware to put it up YoY.

It's been selling 130k a week which is very bad.

yea with wat games........ No system sellers (except DQ VII but that one did alright)

Some great Level 5 games coming to Japan, Youkai Watch being just one of them.
Last year had some great titles, but looking at 2013 (and we don't even have all of the games announced yet), it looks much better and has a much much much higher potential for pushing hardware.

You forgot about Dragonball & Professor Layton, which are both doing great in global sales in the top 6 for currently while only being available in Japan for now.

Yeah, all the 3D games come in march and beyond, and all the 3D Movies come in March and beyond.
Just wait til April 1st to see how good 3D games & 3D Movies do.
Jack & OZ & Croods & G.I. Joe will dominate.
Monster Hunter & Luigi & Pokémon & Harmo knight & etc. will also dominate.
I personally can't wait for that new movie written by Chrsitopher Nolan, called Man of Steel 3D (Superman 1), it will be better then the Dark Knight (Batman 2).

You got your answer right there.
Just add an advertisement for pokemon x and y and you pretty much have a handheld on fire this holiday.
