I was trying to find out the specs of my laptop to see if I could run Dayz. The CPU and RAM are fine (Intel pentium P6200 @ 2.13GHz and 3GB respectively) but I can't find the DAMNABLE GPU!!!

So here's a screenshot and hopefully some of you PC aficionados can help me

your CPU has a small internal gpu core (which serves as your laptops only GPU), which is pretty damn slow - best used for 2D graphics and video decoding, but certainly not for 3D games like Arma 2 (DayZ)

you've got intel HD... not a good enough GPU really.

So you've obviously been on your PC lately, why don't you CHANGE YOUR SIG?

I am guessing it is the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD Graphics, sometimes called Intel HD Graphics or GMA HD. It's also known as the GMA5700MHD (ususally this one comes with the P6200).

Intel GPUs are mainly for lightweight gaming stuff.

Try if Steam can tell you more about the GPU

Which intel HD is it? I think you could run it on HD4000... there are youtube videos of dayz running with an Intel HD 4000... there are even some running it with a HD3000.. but then it looks like shit

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

it's not even a HD2000, it's worse than that

link - he has the p6200

Hmm, it seems I need to invest in a new laptop. Thanks for the answers folks!

Yeah, I did use that and it said my CPU and RAM were fine. I couldn't find the name of my GPU though so I couldn't select it to see if it was good enough or not
