Since Capcom is rebooting DMC, what do you guys think would be the best thing to do with the Resident evil franshise? To milk it like they do, with 3 games a year, to continue with numbered sequels only, to remake Resident Evil 2, or to reboot it entirely?

Can we get modern warfare and world at war releases?
What I mean is, every other game is developed for a different audience.
So like, RE 01 vs RE reloaded/outbreak/groundzero/extinction/evolution etc.
One can be the great survival horror game we used to know and love, with spooky atmosphere, and the other can be the technical aspect with wesker and virii and whatever else nonsense capcom is in love with nowadays.

I hope they do and call it Biohazard. Resident Evil is such a stupid name.

It's not the survival horror aspect that killed it. It's just a crappy game.

Left 4 Dead is a shooter and that works fine. Dead Space 2(haven't played the first) is a shooter that plays like the new Resident Evil style and that game works fine.

They need to hire someone who can develop a good game is what they need to do. Capcom has lost a lot of its best employees in a very short amount of time and has been shoveling out a lot of garbage lately. It's not going to be too long before no one even supports the company the way things are going.

Just make a RE game that is a true survival horror game. The fans are screaming for it Capcom, its time to listen.

there are so many people begging for a new survival horror RE, for Capcom i think it would be worth a shot. Hell, they could even go mega man 9 style and make a low budget ps1 style game for the online store, i would buy it.
