Slightly outdated (Wii at 67m), but still relevant :)
Very outdated image.
E.g. When they say that the DS is the highest selling handheld of all time and have the iPhone at 41million. Well, the iPhone has now sold over 300 million
E.g. When they say that Nintendo is worth more than Nike
Etc. etc.
It's still a pleasant image though. I never knew Miyamoto created all those franchises! :o

My prediction threads:
Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)
PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)
Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right
I wonder what criteria they used to measure "Nintendo is a larger company than Sony/Nike/Panasonic".

Market cap?

Market Cap. It probably did have a higher market cap that all those companies in 2009, but not anymore

Nintendo is still bigger than Sony Corp, probably some of those others too.

Really? Last time I checked (a month or so ago) Sony's was $12bn and Nintys was $8bn. Anyway, Nikes is $44bn.
OT: This really makes Apples market cap of $650bn seem huge! :o

Would be nice to see this updated, although, wouldn't be as faltering to Nintendo today in some regards.

market capitalization, which is a little deceptive.
And, of course, no longer true, since the tumbling of the stocks of pretty much every Japanese company
Though Nintendo still has a great profit:employee ratio.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
