For some reason I was expecting an even bigger boost for H4, but it's at a decent amount already, plenty of momentum to build up in 28 weeks.

I keep expecting that as well, but looking back the numbers aren't that low (Although they may seem like it), on a weekly basis it's trending up 50%, it currently has 5 times the pre-orders that Reach had at this point. And like Reach it will gain the bulk of it's pre-orders in the last 10 to 5 weeks probably.

I expect this installement to be the first Halo game to cross the 2M pre-order mark in USA.

Max Payne has much less perorders than I would have hoped for. Still I think it can hit over 4 million lifetime worldwide on PS360.

This Sniper V2 Elite, is it a sequel to that surprise hit (German or Polish game) Sniper?

Slightly altered remake of the  2005 game Sniper Elite (Sniper Elite: Berlin 1945).

As for Max Payne 3, I agree with you 4M seems possible on both platforms combined. I'd actually be suprised if it didn't hit that.

Starhawk numbers are depressing :S the beta was amazing so hopefully good reviews and word of mouth can give it some good legs.

Is it just me that is thinking Assasins creed 3 may have more preorders than halo4 by the time they release?

If Halo 4 released right now you could expect roughly 460k WW based on a 120% increase which is the increase between Gears 3 (around 100% increase) and Halo Reach (147% increase)

For this week Halo 4 has 622% more total pre-orders than Reach did and is 61.6% higher for this week than Halo Reach.
