Go buy Demon's Souls....NOW !!!!
Yeah, the Ratchet & Clank Series is fun.
Did you like GTA IV? If so, get Red Dead Redemption.
Also, check out Valkyria Chronicles and Batman.
Keep saving it, and sell your PS3. Then buy an iPad 3 when it launches. That's what I would do, anyway!

My prediction threads:
Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)
PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)
Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right
You should try Yakuza 3 and 4. They are action adventure games from Sega, with a lot of fighting, a little of rol (experience, new moves, buy stuff), bad ass bosses, sidestories.
They are long too, I have put more than 60 hours in 3 and 25 hs in 4 and still playing it.
They should be cheap, and there's a new one coming in March called Dead Souls.
Go to a financial institution and put your $60 in a medim-to-high risk portfolio. At least twice a year any serious gamer buys a game he doesn't need as much as he thinks *stares at Sly Collection and NHL 12 on the shelf*. So you do this twice a year.
This might sound incredulous, but after staring at vita ads for 2 hours on my pc at Uni I just decided to invest my ~$340 into the 'ol long term account.
...am I gonna get banned for this?
BasilZero said: So I've gotten about I dont know 100 dollars that I can spend on, and I'm wondering what PS3 game I should get? and my most favorite developers/companies on the PS3 are: |
RPG: Disgaia 4, Kingdoms of Amalur, Demon Souls, Dark Souls, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Yakuza 3 & 4. For a bargain RPG, go for Demon's Souls. For a new RPG, go for Disgaia 4 since you like NIS or wait for Tales of Graces f, because it will be the SHIZNITE!!! The Yakuza series is also great and you can start them from either Yakuza 3 (Gives recap of 1 & 2) or 4 (Gives Recap of 1,2, and 3).
Fighting: Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition, Tekken 6, Soul Calibur V, King of Fighters XIII Ultimate MVC 3, Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition. MK was always at the bottom of the barrel in terms of fighting games for me, but this last one is amazing. But you can't really go wrong with any of these depending on what you like to play.
Platformer/Adventure: Rayman, Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time, Sonic Generations, Ico & Shadow of the Collossus Collection, Jak & Daxter Collection, Sly Cooper Collection. All are spectacular. Rayman and Ratchet & Clank are the cheapest.
Action: Uncharted 3, Uncharted Dual Pack, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, Vanquish, Bayonetta. Arkham Asylum, Bayonetta, Vanquish, and the Uncharted dual pack will be your best options for good, cheap games.
Racing: GT5 XL Edition. Because I said so.
I am the Playstation Avenger.

Dark Souls and God of War 3 you definitely would enjoy. (Demon's Souls is even better than Dark Souls and $10 cheaper but I think the online servers closed and it's funnier to play with servers than without).

Dude, you must buy Demon and Dark Souls! You can find Demon's for about $20 and Dark Souls is sometimes $40. Then, if you got some money left and if you want a platformer, buy Ratchet and Clank Future A Crack In Time or Tools of Destruction (Much better than A4O).

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)
