This thread may be farcical in nature, and that is probably the authors intent. However I feel I must point out that the joke is actually on everyone who is laughing. This game is not a flop, and based on this estimate it is probably a very successful title. Sometimes in our jaded outlook we forget that game sales follow different trends when it comes to different genres and demographics. While we over emphasis games that are relevant to us as a community we tend to forget that games do rest outside of our sphere of interest.

The reality is this genre doesn't launch spike. It either steady sails, or it spikes after four or five weeks on the market. So to actually start out this well is a very promising sign. It seems to be on par with the gold standard which seems to be Spongebob. I am really kind of shocked to find this kind of demand on the 360. A console that most of us do not equate with games for the very young.

I wouldn't be shocked if this title managed to get close to a million sales in about a years time, and yes that does make me feel a tad bit unclean. I think we have to wait till late November to see if this title will take off. This can probably teach us something about the consoles demographic, and how it might be changing. I doubt it will get Microsoft to drop its hardcore lineup. No dozen games for small children match up to a Halo for profitability.

What self-respected mature, gamer would possibly belittle themselves by going out and buying a game based on an educational program for before-school children? ... besides Machina that is.

if i had any children i definitely would have bought this.

What's the requirement.? FW<100k?

Whatever I feel like constitutes a flop. In All 4 One's case I don't even see any reason to wait for first week sales.

Sigh, you might want to check the release timing. I expect this to move 300-400K over the holidays. Probably will reach 1 M+ lifetime.
