This is one of the reason because of i don't like firearms being legal in a country.

i think you should be allowed but the moment you mess up you pay a huge price-plus if its not registered and trackable...booom huge price---

its not hard to get a gun, register it, identify it with the spiral patern, then keep it out of kids hands---

People forget how large the United States is. You can fit England in the state of Texas. Think about that when you look at numbers.

yes but not impossible--i keep a small caliber pistol in the night stand next to my bed---i dont think i would ever shoot someone but its nice to know that if it come down to it i could fire a round or two into the floor and make some noise to scare any would be crook away

It's also a lot easier to critically injure someone with a knife then you'd think.

Also, it's a lot harder to dissuade people from fighting back (even if you are the crook) with a knife... as few people actually realize how hard Knife on hand or knife on knife combat is.
