^^^We'll just have to wait for Lens of Truth, Digital Foundry, Leo-J, and Aldro threads before we know which game is the best looking. In the meantime, Gears appears to be doing pretty well with reviewers. Good job, Epic!

Eh, it's not a big deal either way. Even if "x" game looks better than "y" game, the only benefit is bragging rights. Uncharted 3, Killzone 3, & Rage all look a bit better in my view, but won't get even 1/3 of the playtime Gears 3 will get from me. I was, honestly, sad when the beta was over. In 5 days, it's about to replace Gears 1 as my current gen, main multi-player game!

Agreed. I'm actually not a big fan of graphics comparison threads. To be honest, I hate 'em. I was just trying to segway the conversation away from "who's got the best graphics" and back on topic.

Like you, I already know how I'm going to be spending most of my time in the near future!! I beat Gears 1 and 2 last week and I really haven't wanted to play anything else until Gears 3. I tried RE5 and that didn't even get my blood pumping. I have an itch that can only be scratched by some Gears campaign mode (which reviewers say is going to really pull at our heartstrings) and some Horde Mode 2.0. Nothing else matters! I'll probably jump online in Gears 2 tonight to make the suffering more bearable.

I expect it to be the last one for the 360. I doubt if Epic would have enough integrity to quit such a huge franchise just because the story is over. There's a whole Gears universe out there. They could make prequels, sequels, and spin-offs about things that happened before (Pendulum Wars), during (Alpha Team getting slaughtered), and after (Anya becoming a stripper) Emergence Day. Money is a powerful motivator.

I read somewhere that if the game sold 10 million or something Cliff would defenitely make a sequal.....I honesly dont see it reaching that many sales thou!

So In my opinion I think this means, it will be the last Gears of War on 360 ......So Well See!

I don't think EPIC said sequel. I believe they said(not exact quote just from memory), " If Gears 3 reaches 10 million I don't think we would have a choice, but to make another gears of war game". That could be a lot things like a prequel or maybe a brand new trilogy, who knows? I don't believe they would make it on the 360 if it happens.
