Eh, it's not a big deal either way. Even if "x" game looks better than "y" game, the only benefit is bragging rights. Uncharted 3, Killzone 3, & Rage all look a bit better in my view, but won't get even 1/3 of the playtime Gears 3 will get from me. I was, honestly, sad when the beta was over. Agreed. I'm actually not a big fan of graphics comparison threads. To be honest, I hate 'em. I was just trying to segway the conversation away from "who's got the best graphics" and back on topic.
Like you, I already know how I'm going to be spending most of my time in the near future!! I beat Gears 1 and 2 last week and I really haven't wanted to play anything else until Gears 3. I tried RE5 and that didn't even get my blood pumping. I have an itch that can only be scratched by some Gears campaign mode (which reviewers say is going to really pull at our heartstrings) and some Horde Mode 2.0. Nothing else matters! I'll probably jump online in Gears 2 tonight to make the suffering more bearable.
