...really need to stop it.  You may not realize it, but it pisses off people that actually know how to play the game.  Also, it outs you as someone that doesn't know how to play it.  Mario Kart takes an enormous amount of skill.  Just ask any of thee people:

There are several others on the site that are really good that I'm not listing, but I'm sure that you get the point.  People that claim that Mario Kart does not involve skill would get owned by any of these people that actually know how to play the game and play it very well.  Take me for example; I have a three star ranking and have gotten a 9999 VR on 4 profiles, and am not even the best person listed.  Do you think that you could beat me?    

With the recent release of Sega & Sonic All Star Racing it's started again.  Actually I hear it every time that a new racing game is released.  It takes a lot more skill than Mario Kart blah, blah, blah as if there is a randomly generated winner or something.  I must be an extremely lucky guy since almost any time I race online I come in first, when I make a slight mistake I usually come in second, and in third when I make a big one.  When I come in third,  I get angry at myself for screwing up and don't whine and complain about bad luck or blue shells.  That brings me to my next point...

Blue shells.  People always bitch about the blue shell.  They don't bother me that much.  Wanna know why?  When I get hit with one, it means that I'm in first place.  I get hit with one, two, three, or sometimes four blue shells in a race and still usually win.  Why?  Because I have practiced enough to know the course well enough to get a big enough lead that it doesn't matter.  Which brings me to my next point...

If you are in first place, and have a sizeable lead, the only item that can't be guarded against that doesn't effect everyone else is the blue shell.  Banana peels block red and green shells and people that have the choice weapons like the Mega Mushroom and bombs are normally toward the back of the pack.  The game is BALANCED in the weapon distribution.  I know that this may be hard for people that usually lose to hear, but it's true.  Good weapons go to those racing in the back and protective weapons like banana peels and shells that can be dragged behind you go to the racers in the front.  I'd rather have three banana peels than one blue shell.

So for everyone that thinks that the gane doesn't involve skill, and a lot of it, I suggest you to do one of three things.

1)  Race one of the people that I mentioned at the beginning of the thread online.

2)  Try to beat one of TWRoO's Time Trials.

3)  Shut your mouth.     

MKWii only relies on luck and takes no skill.

Well...  to give you an idea of how lucky I am, according to my stats I beat him about one in three times.

Brawl4life isn't that great anymore.. >.> at least based on races in late 09.

You got up to a 9999 VR?  Wow!!!  You must be really lucky.

I am.  Wii Wheel users are so hard to beat.  Also hackers take only a little bit of VR.

I actually stuck with the Wii Wheel for a while.  I got a 3 star ranking with it and then ditched that thing shortly afterwards. 

Now hackers are something that I do bitch about.  They really do take the fun out of the game.

When at the front of the race it's a bit more difficult to hit people though.
