hey good news zelda u already has 3k preorders :)

meh. That game is so far down......

I'm just happy WiiU has stabilized at 60k weekly (even with the MK8 bundle discontinued). If Nintendo plays their cards right, they could still end up 2nd this gen.

    on 12 July 2014

well it still has over a year) so its doing good and actually europe still continuing the bundle

    on 12 July 2014

There's already a Zelda bundle for WiiU??

The thing about VGC is the numbers are a complete estimate. I've seen VGC completely change the pre-orders for games by up to 400% with adjustments. Sometimes they add a game after they "estimate" that it's received 30,000-40,000 pre-orders.

Don't take the info from this website too strictly, always approach it with a grain of salt. As an example, last July VGC claimed PS3 topped 360 sales, and even made an article about it. With the most recent adjustments, PS3 only topped 360 last month.

    on 13 July 2014

I wouldn't be surprised if Smash Bros WiiU had 50,000 pre-orders (VGC have it at 20,000 right now).

    on 13 July 2014

actually i could see that to since it should have gotten over 10k preorders from e3 hype and smash fest :P

    on 14 July 2014

and thx for the tip :)

Hey man, I know you're a big Mario Party 2 fan. The game is one of the prizes on Club Nintendo until the 6th. Do you think it's worth picking up? I might only be able to play with two people.

Mario Party 2 is by far the best Mario Party, definitely worth picking up IMO. I have it both for N64 and Wii.

Mario Party 9 isn't bad either, but 2 is definitely the best. MP1 has too many mini-games which grind down the analog stick and 3-8 are all pretty bad.

I still play MP2 with friends. I say buy it.

    on 04 July 2014

I decided to get it :)

Thanks for your advice. I'll let you know how I like it.

    on 06 July 2014

Please do. My advice is to play Space Land with your friends. It's my favorite map.

hey which one do you think eill help wii u more

xenoblade x or fire emblem x shin megami(whatever its called)

XenoBlade for sure. SMT x. Fire Emblem is a crossover and crossovers rarely do anything noticeable.

Might not even get SMT x. Fire Emblem because I hate SMT

    on 26 June 2014

now which one could be more helpful in japam?

    on 27 June 2014

    XenoBlade lol

    on 27 June 2014

hmm i was thinking since the other 2 do better in japan but that could happen lol

    on 27 June 2014

It could, but console Fire Emblems never did that well in Japan either (0.16/0.17 million, same as XenoBlade)

SMT did well during the PS2 era, but that 23 million PS2 install base in Japan gave an unfair advantage (Wii only had 9 million units).

Plus now that the game is being planned to be released outside of Japan, I could see this game having a larger budget/more advertising.

Hi, Michael-5! When will the final results of the 10 week countdown come out?

    ....... *evil eyes*

I'll ask non-gravity when I should put them out. I think he normally did them for mid-April because VGC tends to adjust numbers like mad after the fiscal year reports from Nintendo/Sony/MS show up.

    fiscal year just ended yesterday

    on 01 April 2014

I and TWRoO always promised to do them after vgchartz has had the time to adjust for fiscal year reports, in like May. But he nor I have ever done that. We always did them in October before the new countdown

    Did you like it?

What part of Cuba, the rich one or the poor one? Or both?

    on 14 February 2014

There's a rich part of Cuba? lol, it was pretty ghetto, but I loved how cheap it was, and a hot beach is a hot beach.

    Hope you win the contest.

    on 15 February 2014

Yeah, there's quite the social difference in Cuba. Didn't know you were into beachs, though :P

    on 15 February 2014

Sometimes you need to relax and think, that's why you go on Vacation is it not? If I went to Europe or somewhere like Toronto, it would just feel like exploring, not relaxing.

Was nice to see the world from a different perspective. Everyone in Cuba was so chills, I even went behind the bar to pour people drinks LOL.

Just got a 3DS.....Fire Emblem is amazing! I can't play in 2D anymore, but full 3D is too much, so I play at 50% 3D.

    Love the cut-scenes, great animations!

Glad some people still enjoy 3D, all I seem to here these days is people bashing it and saying they never use it. Ah well, haters are always more vocal...

You're right to pass up Game Gear and Jaguar, although the latter has Tempest 2000, which is an amazing game.

Thanks for accepting the invite :)

Atari was before my time, or well I never had one growing up. I have no particular nostalgia towards the brand.

Tempest 2000 looks good, but with Panzer Dragoon still on my Radar, and retro Starfox, I think I'm good.

I dunno, I have a lot of old games, I think the 90's were a creative time for gaming. If you see my collection, I have most of it updated. In time I want to own all the great SNES/PS1/Saturn/N64 classics, but they are sarting to get expensive on eBay now.

I have this hobby, where I go out to garage sales on Saturdays, buy all the video game I can find (which are reasonably priced), keep what I like, and flip what I don't. I made a lot of money last year I think about $1,025 profit so far, and I still have $300 plus of stuff on eBay. I just missed out on some great PS1 collections (literally came and saw someone buy dozens of PS1 games). Going to make it a habit to wake up earlier this time around, and maybe in a year or two, I'll have made enough money with this side job to pay/find all the retro games I like.

    on 03 December 2013

That's really smart. How do you find the right garage sales?

    on 03 December 2013

Between my house and my parents is a fairly well off neighborhood. People there have a lot of games, and good stuff in general, and sell it for dirt cheap. as an example I bought Luigi's Mansion and Smash Bros Melee for $1 each last year, sold them for something like $90 (I already own a copy). I think I average $11 profit per game I find.

It's a lot of trial and error though, and some weekends I get absolutely nothing. I just noticed that from last year, a lot of the better deals sold out at 7-7:30 am.

It's just with old games so expensive now, it's hard to justify making a collection with my regular income.

Michael, my man. Sorry for bothering you, but... the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection has gone nuts on the VGC database. The artbox is missing, and both the sales from Europe and America are missing as well (In all three versions).

Whoah.....I'll e-mail Brent. Collections, and sales figures, are two types of things which I can't fix.

I saw what you said in the Marketshare article. The PS4 logo is from VGChartz. I'm waiting for Brett to put up the Xbox One logo on the site. I like to keep my articles consistent with the rest of the site.

That's good, but the PS4 logo from VGC is the same as the PS4 logo that MS uses. That X One logo looks completely different from the logo MS uses.

Is there any way you can make a logo which looks like the 360 logo? The XB One logo is very similar to that.
