I follow the charts in all regions and no third party Switch 2 game has sold as well as DK Bananza. I'm not basing it on franchise history I'm literally just keeping track of how I see them listed lol.
The UK can comfortably be used to estimate global numbers as there are frequent regional patterns. Games that don't perform great in the UK are not going to perform amazingly in Europe, and may perform better but still not amazing in US.
Cyberpunk Switch hasn't sold anything close to 5m, but I'd like to see the logic or source that suggest it has. 3m as a guess is not impossible but still unlikely since the S2 version of the game was only out for 12months of the 18 in which it sold 10m.
