Many people have been saying for years the PS5 software sales are garbage and that proves the PS5 has been exported in mass from Japan and that Japan PS5 hardware sales are actually lower. Yet here we have a game with no brand attachment with over double the attach rate on PS5 than Switch 2.

Pragmata's simply the kind of game the PS base prefers; if you're a Japanese console gamer who cares about AAA releases, chances are you're a PS owner as that's where the lion's share of such games have been for decades.

Nintendo has only recently started to grow an audience for these kind of games after a 20 year absence.
