Based on this assumption, it’s unlikely that the console will ever reach 160 million units. I expect it to peak at 158 million units.

Even though the console will be on the market for a year longer than Sony’s best selling console, it will still fall short by nearly 2 million units.

Therefore, the old saying of " ooh Switch sold so much more for 8 years " and " this is a sprint not a marathon " will be invalid or at least will be flipped, since by discontinuation, the other console can be the one with shorter life, and the point will be the opposite " the other console has sold more for 13 years, than what Switch sold in 14 years "

The other console actually sold 155 point whatever since thats what the number has been for eons, at least for as long as i can remember. All the sudden one day some other console just says its 160 now, we all have to just nod our heads and agree and not question anything. 

In my view, switch is already the champion and anything they cell this year is icing because theyve already passed the milestoone as far as im concerned. There is no other console that has claimed to have sold 160 million units who has sold more units than switch and thats a fact.
