Unless the Switch 2 also get a price increase, and 100$ at that ..

Yeah a Switch 2 price increase would hurt sales for that. But with given the install base I think Nintendo wants to hold off as long as possible. With PS5 there are already over 90 million sold.

I think every single month Nintendo has been on standby ready to increase the price in all regions. It hasn't happened yet, but I still think it's quite probable.

I don't think Nintendo could keep the price level by merely decreasing the internal storage to say 128 GB and removing HDR on the screen. There really isn't any way to cut corners on the hardware to save money while it's still a normal Switch 2.

Xbox Series is still in production until Microsoft says otherwise but these sales figures seem to be getting lower and lower.

Lifetime Sales Predictions

Switch: 161 million (was 73 million, then 96 million, then 113 million, then 125 million, then 144 million, then 151 million, then 156 million)

PS5: 122 million (was 105 million, then 115 million) Xbox Series X/S: 38 million (was 60 million, then 67 million, then 57 million. then 48 million. then 40 million)

Switch 2: 120 million (was 116 million)

PS4: 120 mil (was 100 then 130 million, then 122 million) Xbox One: 51 mil (was 50 then 55 mil)

3DS: 75.5 mil (was 73, then 77 million)
