So PS5 selling more than Switch 2 this year means Switch 2 will have a bigger year on year decline in its second year on the market compared to PS5 year on year decline in its sixth year. And given how much more Switch 2 will sell in Japan vs PS5 this year, Switch 2 would need to see its sales crater completely in the west for that to happen this year.

What are the sales numbers and where do they come from?
