Sure but new techniques are not going to close the gap in raw power.  Raw power is far more important.  A 5060 has newer features compared to a 3090.  A 3090 spanks a 5060.

At the end of the day, it can't be debated.  The S2 is closer to the ps4 then ps5 when it comes to performance.

In terms of raw pixels or FLOPs sure, but it depends on the game in question and its requirements; if you're running an 8th gen game, Switch 2 will fall far closer to PS4, but then when it comes to a current gen game that requires PS5 tier functionality like RT or leans heavily on fast data streaming, Switch 2 can do those things and PS4 can't.

It can. But still far closer to the ps4.  Digital Foundry had cyber between the ps4 and ps4 pro.  Had ff7 closer to ps4.  It sits in that hardware tier with a few extras.

RT on consoles are a joke, It is RT lite at best.
