Will Metroid Prime 4 sell more on Switch 1 or 2?

Of course, people will prefer the visually more seamless look of one boxart over the other one. Aesthetic bias n all. Upgrade path will do the heavy lifting here I expect.

Are figures foing to be readily available for us to analyze this later? I’m genuinely curious and the discourse around this subject would be illuminated greatly if we could get a few samples. Metroid Prime 4 seems like a perfect place to begin seeing how this shakes down. 

I completely agree. I'm morbidly curious to see the results and if we change can determine changing habits or not during the fiscal release next year for the holiday quarter. 

The sad thing is ... Not coming before next year 😭
