You do understand the Switch core demographic supports more heavily physical games though right ? (with stats from Nintendo financials proving it)
Of course, people will prefer the visually more seamless look of one boxart over the other one. Aesthetic bias n all. Upgrade path will do the heavy lifting here I expect.
