Played a good but into The Alters. Some great ideas for a survival game and legit interesting premise and story but the survival elements, mainly the upkeep don't start difficult and get easier and you streamline but everything gets more complex, more stuff going on with seemingly less ways to handle things leading to headaches and a game that feels worse the longer you play. A real pity. The game could be saved easily with some balance changes, cut the time it takes to do tasks in half. Cut the rate of repairs down to a quarter of what they are and cut the repair time in half. Double the recourses. Etc.etc. etc. And the game should feel as if you're making progress and be enjoyable instead of doing endless upkeep and resource mining. Maybe slow down time by a few factors when you're exploring outside the base. As of now, you always feel rushed, in some form of stress and it's not worth it. I get they want to hammer home the survival but if it comes at the cost of fun and instead headaches what's the point.
