Banishers GoNE is astonishingly well made. It's wild that this hidden gem flew under the radar but I'm glad it made it's way into my library. This game is a prime example of using your resources well, it's not the best looking game and a generation step down from Desth Stranding 2 which I just came from but it still looks fantastic, the art, the style, the texture used all wrapped in a clean image that runs smooth. You know it's got lesser production but it's still wowing cause it has a painting like shean to it. The VA being so good also helps bump the feel in production but it's clear this studio were on a AA budget, yet it only falters in some small areas like lesser NPC facial animations.
If you love The Witcher 3 and also loved TW2's kind of linear edged world chance are you'll like this, it's not as gritty and I can't speak for the over arching writing nor quest design just yet but it does certainly not deserve to reach subscription libraries so soon. It reminds of games in the ps3/360 era that would bridge the gap between action and RPG for the first times and amaze in doing so. I may be buying this one on deep sale, it's 50% now but I can't afford to ve wasting money on a game I have access to play.
