| Farsala said: Path of Exile 2 Early Access The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt I beat the the witcher 3. Fun game and extremely long. It took me longer as well due to my hiatus from gaming. It was difficult to get into at first and the enemies in the early game really destroy you. I played on the 2nd hardest difficulty throughout the game. Then in the midgame you get too strong, you upgrade the weapons and you upgrade all the mutagens and start destroying. The DLC re-balances things, but by then you have a solid understanding on what to do against almost everything. Gwent was fun, I always challenged everyone. The game has very nice world building and realistic people in it, which is great. Unfortunately, after so many years, the game still has many game breaking bugs. These bugs didn't bother me with Cyberpunk launch, because it was a launch game. But years after, bugs that brick my system or generally break the game is quite annoying. I can't imagine Witcher 4 launching without problems knowing the track record for this developer. It is even worse than Bethesda games. Music was good and fitting throughout. The story/plot was entertaining and Geralt fits well into it. I hope Ciri can fit into the world in Witcher 4nicely with everything included like the comedy, dry wit, seriousness, romance, etc. Overall a good game, one of my top WRPGs for sure. |
Congrats in beating one of the best games ever and one that can take so many long hours. Indeed, the game gets to easy at the mid point and it doesn't matter how high you put the difficulty cause the top two are just an increase/decrease in HP. There is two choke points in the main path though at the highest difficulty, one being the witches fight with Ciri and there are some really hard side quest bits. Thankfully the game is rumoured to be getting a new update and hopefully a feature will be a reworked h8gher difficulty that doesn't just focus on making enemies hit harder, tbh Idk how they would do it cause quen with adrenaline is so OP, you can hit quen, spam didgeridoo until it recharges and it trivialise the game, you could make the enemies one hit and it would make little difference. It's really fun to go into the DLC though and do the quest 10 or so levels higher, it feels right.
