The games business is competitive industry and studios will always spend more to have a better game that allows them to compete with the other games. It has always been this way and I really have no clue why you think Sony's PS5 Pro is responsible for this effect. If you want to convince others the PS6 is a scam too, that also doesn't matter because it's not like Xbox will be a real competitor anymore and I doubt the Switch 2 is going to stomp PS6 into failure. If you successfully convince someone the PS6 is a scam, what would they buy as an alternative? |
PS1, 2 and 3 had very few broken games or games that tried to exceed the limits of the hardware. Yes, you had bloom on PS2 and some performance issues into the later stage of the PS3/360 era but this phenomenon is new and I think the PS4 (Even though I loved it) was the start of this new age of devs budgeting towards instability. What we have now in this gen is completely new, the image quality issues have never been seen before and there are many factors like engines, Ai and what not but PRO consoles and weak systems like the XSS are contributing factors. All systems in a generation should be relatively on par.
