The devs took all the things we love the most from Elder Scrolls, such as rewarding exploration and quests in a first person fantasy open world, and making it their own. Lowkey though, the quests have been consistently better than Elder Scrolls lol. The world itself actually kinda reminds me more of Elden Ring. |
I'm not gone on the segmented open world, lack of freedom due to level scaling or using a town hub to pick up 20 quests (litterally) and then expect to known what's what. That's less TES and more TES online. It also lacks simulation elements, NPC routines and much stuff asides.
Best TES killers right now is the Kingdom Come Deliverence titles.
