The "home giant ass brick" console is going to be in trouble in the coming years IMO. Which is really basically just the standard Playstation mainly as XBox is fading out of the picture.
I think even for Playstation, when people see they can buy a hybrid/portable model that runs most/all of the same games, the userbase is going to splinter heavily right there and a lot of people are going to opt for the hybrid model only.
Nintendo will respond with a Switch 2 Pro and off we go.
