I don't want to get into semantics over the the core concept thing so what I'll say is that it's strange that you're so adamantly against the idea of a home console only model cause if you don't like it you can just not buy one while the people who would like to have one can. I'm unsure how good it'd be for Nintendo business wise but I doubt it could hurt so I'm in favour of it cause it would benefit millions of people while harming basically nothing.

Where did I say I'm against it? Even if I was what it's to you? I'm saying I don't really see the point as the single model does the same thing anyway and that I'm not convinced such skus in the long have made a difference that the current model would have eventually done anyway hence why I can see why Nintendo never bother with a TV version, I wouldn't be surprised if Switch 2 doesn't get a Lite version.

You were arguing against the existence of it so that seemed like a fair assumption to me but fair enough and if you were it'd just be strange cause of what I said. For the point it'd mean people who don't care about the portable functionality would have a cheaper option so all the people out there who never or basically never take their Switch out of the dock would be able to save some money with the Switch 2. I'd be surprised if a Switch 2 Lite doesn't happen since a cost reduction will matter more this time but we'll see what happens by 2027.
