I don't remember Nin doing business like that with SW1, and the hype around it was pretty huge.  

Switch 1 at launch cost the same as a PS4, and it didn't get a cheaper model until more than two years into its life.

Same as PS4 in early 2017, $299, but PS4 launched late 2013 for $399, with lower mid tier hardware (minus the CPU).

You don't think Nin could've charged more at launch? You think Nin was worried about potentially weak sales initially?

PS5   - ^ -We must build a console that’s a generational cross product, with RT lighting, and price hiking.

PRO  -&- We must build a console that Super Res upscales and continues the cost increases.
